Bluehost System Admin Help: Mounting Add-on Storage

Ok, so my website is hosted by Bluehost, which uses Centos. I bought an add-on storage to have more storage (well duh). I tried to mount it to /home1 but instead it read it as /home and now my website does not work. Technical support told me to find someone who is good with Linux to get the files saved and mounted in the right places. (I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place but I'm not very good with Linux-based anything). So what do you all suggest I do? If you need more details let me know. Thank you.

Yeah I did all that after I sent in a ticket. The tech support guy I was talking to told me not to do that because I would mess things up but I don't think he knew what he was talking about. He kept telling me not to do it, but I sent in a ticket and they told me to do just that. He seriously had me scared for a while there. Thanks.
