5.2. Binutils-2.42 - Pass 1 uses an dumb configuration option
It uses --disable-nls but the configure script doesn't have anything about nls and even running this script with --help doesn't print this particular option. So why it's there and could it be omitted?
Answering to myself. This option is used by an internal configure scripts that are ran by the main one.
Found by running "grep -r disable-nls ." in the root directory of the source code.
