kswapd high cpu utilization.


Hi,

Please suggest how to troubleshoot, kswapd is utilizing high cpu?

also wanted to know which parameters are important and needs to be added with sar command for monitoring the performance of Linux?

Please guide me.

kswapd high CPU usage is pointing to insufficient RAM.

Thanks Emerson, how to find out actual usage of memory in Linux using sar -r, as per my understanding Linux use buffer/cache concept.. Plz suggest.

I am not able to understand diff between free and sar command.
