Sorry for my ugly english, I'll try to take few minutes to expose my point of view.

Create your business in your image. Don't trust usual business model, every body do the same, it's boring.
If you think different, it will make your difference.
no need to compete, just make a great and particular job it will be ok.

Personally, I didn't quit the comfortable position of employee to create my own nightmare. I don't want to be the slave of my own choices.
There's more interesting things in my life than running after dollars.
Money is important, you have to make profit to survive, but it is not the most important point.
I created a cool business. I'm cool with my team, really comprehensive. Ok, I work 60h per week, but it's cool anyway.
Thanks to this, my team is also cool with clients and the company have a great little success.

When I see the standard businessman, long teeth, sharp smile and dollars in the eyes, I run away.
The job of seller need first to hear, then to be honest, then to be yourself. I almost have only happy customers because I stay cool.
unhelpful to cheat, if you run after money it smell like shit around you.
A professional seller can smile, but if you put the pressure for performance client fee that.

Had you ever heard a guy who ask you "boss, could I work on next monday ? It's my birthday so I wish to be here"
No matter if this guy comes 10 min later almost every days, clients come here to have his advise, his cool face and his smile.

I understand you think my business will be short-lived, it sound like that, but actually my main challenge is to handle the triple of turnover each year.

Will I become rich ? No, of course not.
But I have a salary, no debts and I'm happy.

I'm not wealthy except that I have a small private business, and I hire people that I trust.
Still, I think a time tracker would be a manner to simplify my life, it would allow my team to manage time by themselves without my survey.
I don't think they will try to cheat because of they just want to work.

And I'll stop to discuss about that, takes too much time
