video's are all skewed based on triple monitor setup

Running f8 off a Dell XPSm1330 laptop, all newest Nvidia drivers, etc. From home, opening video's either mplayer, xine, etc are all fine.

At work the laptop is connected to a matrox tripleheadtogo box which goes to 3 22' widescreen monitors (3840x1024). Looks / works sweet, but video's are all way out of whack like someone squashed letterbox even more so it's really really short height and wide.

Anyone have some ideas how to work around something like this? Resizing the window helps, but still pretty much unusable.

Thanks

Are the three monitors working as one desktop? If so, try editing your ~/.mplayer/config file. Add a "monitoraspect=" line. Something like...

monitoraspect="15:4"

You might have to play with the setting a bit.

I don't know what you'd need to do to do the same in xine.
