Disable auto-mount for a specific user

Hi, I want to disable auto-mount for a specific user.
My problem is that I'm using a multi-user PC and when I insert a USB Flash drive when the other user is logged but not active it say the follow error message:
Unable to mount USB Drive, An operation is already pending.

So I have to logout the other user to be able to open the USB flash drive.

Any help would be appreciated.

thank you.

I'd consider kicking him from the USB group...
by the way...is that correct? Fedora core 3???? Could you be tempted to upgrade? Maybe my advice (or anyone's) may be in vain for that one...

I'm running linuxmint 17.1 I didn't update my profile since then.
I had the same problem with linuxmint 16.
I don't have an USB group, my other user (isabelle) is only part of the following group: isabelle & nopasswdlogin.

thank you

Do you have user-specific (/media/user/usbdevice) directories? You can actually disable that behaviour with udev rules.

No, I don't have any usbdevice directories.
I even remove all user privileges in the Users and Groups in Administration Menu.
