Do you have exfat-utils and exfat-fuse installed?

Typically flash drives over 32GB are formatted as exFAT and smaller drives are FAT32. If this is your first time using a large flash drive with linux then you would not of seen this problem previously.

sudo apt-get install exfat-fuse exfat-utils

If you don't know anything about them, then you probably don't have them installed. That would be why that drive doesn't work, since you don't have the utilities to access exfat partitions installed. Install them, and then you should be able to access.

I've never used deepin, so I don't know if they provide a pretty gui to install software, if so, you can use that. If not, from a terminal AS ROOT
Code:
apt-get install exfat-utils exfat-fuse
or if deepin uses sudo
Code:
sudo apt-get install exfat-utils exfat-fuse
I don't believe a reboot would be required after installing since it's fuse drivers and they're loaded as necessary, but I'd probably reboot anyway.

BTW - with extremely limited knowledge of linux, deepin might not be the best choice. While pretty, it's based on Debians unstable branch, which is known for having things break. Not that if you like it you shouldn't use it, but just be forewarned you might have a bit of a initiation by fire in learning linux when things break.

No, I actually use base Debian, and sometimes will use the "unstable" branch, but I've been running it so long that I'm ok with something breaking, and can usually repair it myself anymore due to how many times it's happened.

I did find an earlier announcement that indicated deepin supports exfat read/write. I'm not real familiar with deepin. What version are you running?

If you do not intend to write files larger than 4GB you can always reformat as FAT32.

Or just format it as NTFS.

Make sure you use the correct device ID for the flash drive.

mkfs.vfat -s 16 -F 32 /dev/sdc1

Assuming ntfsprogs are installed:

mkntfs /dev/sdc1
