nfs tcp wrappers in rpc. mountd (rhce)

hi all,

I noticed that I need both portmap and mountd in /etc/hosts.allow to actually get nfs working for remote systems.
I did not find this in any RHCE preparation information which I find really strange.
I only find things about needing portmap in /etc/hosts.allow.

What is your experience with this on CentOS/RHEL?
