How hard is LPIC-1? From a sysadmin point of view?
I am about to take the LPIC-1 101 exam and I was wondering how hard the exam actually is? I am into Linux now for 5-6 months and I love it. I do wanna make a career out of it, so I am starting out with LPIC-1. I have been preparing for it for 2 months now. Is that enough? I am at the point where I can almost configure an Arch install to the way I want it(i3-gaps..) I also did go through the material, in depth, that is on their website. I do fell kinda prepared. I just wanna know what should I expect, from someone who has been there or someone knows what I am talking about and is willing to give me an advice. Thank you. Any advice is welcome!
I guess 2 month is not really enough, but obviously it depends on you, so it may work.
If you need some recommendation:
1. practice
2. practice a lot
3. practice even more
In my personal experience its difficult to remember everything, its my suggestion to use the weighting as a guideline as to what is most important and what to focus on more than other if that makes sense. But generally you should focus on everything.
Hello,
I've got both.
I found the 2nd part harder then the LPIC-101 because some aspects were new to me like X configuration, as I work only with headless servers I don't use graphics.
