It is indeed. But, I did not call another member a name or names. There is after all a difference. Especially since some like to claim so much about differences on this thread.

I did not give or call you a name. Have you ever run into the term "Metafor"?

One or two actually said that, and did. Many more were claimed to have said that that never did. Fact checkers researched, asked, and discovered that those were lies. Yet you BELIEVED them! You should have checked!

My words:

I need no warning as I can assure you, that it will definitely not be I that will be going over the edge of that cliff.
Your response:
Said the lemming...

More than a metaphor to me.

What I imply I will stand by. What you infer that is not what I said or implied is not my responsibility.

If you want “civility” then you need to offer it.

I recently bought an EV. On my first day driving it to school, another staff member exclaimed: "oh, so you fell into Biden's trap." I reply that the real trap is taking sides in this political circus, thereby falling into the trap of being divided. A circus tent is circular, so there really aren't any sides at all, just one audience watching the clowns feed the elephants...

Correct.

Any parties seeking to divide people do not deserve your vote.

No man is an island. Don't let them divide, because history shows us what the next step is... and it's not good.

My emphasis on the inanity of such a remark, as if Biden caused the move to EVs. He can add incentive to speed up it's development but creating them, as well as much of the effective demand, is strictly the province of entrepreneurs.

Example, as way cool as Steve Wozniak is and was, without Steve Jobs there would be no Apple, iPhone etc., and possibly no (though I suspect it would have happened sooner or later but without The Steves, the emphasis would be on "later") PCs.

To paraphrase Eddie Wilson from Eddie and the Cruisers "Inventors and entrepreneurs, Man!... inventors and entrepreneurs. now play!" Politicians are secondary at best.

Just as a heads up.

The Trump campaign has raised $34.5M since yesterday's NYC guilty verdict.
