Does anyone know of any cloud storage site that can world for downloads
I'm doing a website where sharing files to download I'm wondering
if anyone could recommend me some cloud storage sites good for integration
with my website, I want to be able to tell if a user has downloaded a link and
to be able to make that link expire (non-usable).
There are no immediate systems that come to mind but you may want to possibly look into a content management system such as Joomla or Wordpress. Based on my experience with Joomla you could track the amount of hits on a page or link as well as setting expiry dates on the content.
Thanks all... I'm going to try dropbox they have a good monthly deal for 3TB space and they have
an api that can work with my website. I heard MEGA does not really give the full 50 GB or something like that...
If we’re talking about that amount of storage, you might want to look into Amazon S3.
Better to look into Linode or Digital Ocean. Amazon charges similar prices for storage, but way more for data transfer.
Amazon S3 has monthly costs of ~US$92/TB of data downloaded, whilst both Digital Ocean and Linode have no charge for the first 1TB each month, then cost only ~US$10/TB beyond that.
