Interesting. Do you realize that this is not the first time you have insulted another member because you either had no intelligent thing to say or did not care to share your real thoughts? It comes out seeming childish and spoiled. I wish you would stop being insulting and make clear and intelligent statements. If you have anything real to contribute, I would like very much to see what you have.

Oh! I had forgotten that. That tactic should never work, but apparently many people are vulnerable to insult as a power play. I certainly hope it does not work here.

All your points are valid. The UK government does not really care about 'the children', it just cares about votes. A plan like this was full of holes [pun unintended], the main one being that any kid with some internet know-how could circumvent the ban in a matter of seconds. A secondary reason behind it was closer monitoring of UK citizens' internet activities. It was a surveillance/vote canvassing plan thinly veiled as a moral benefit and should have greatly worried anyone who cared about internet freedom.

There is no other way into my approval without this gatekeeper.
I believe nobody who claims to have the welfare of children in mind but shrinks back at even the notion of banning circumcision for any reason, especially non medical.
I also don't believe anyone who uses the word "kid" or "Kids" for human children in a serious context, I already don't like it in a colloquial settings, but when the situation is supposed to be serious?
Not a chance for me to even begin to believe the party. Can't even call them the word for human offspring? Yeah, not interested, next.

Watching porn videos certainly doesn't improve peoples' minds, and it often involves financial and sexual exploitation of the actors in these films. But it turns out to be bad for the environment too.
According to an article in last week's New Scientist, online video is responsible for 60% of all internet traffic, and it generates 300 million tons of CO2 per year. That's equivalent to the carbon footprint of Spain! Of this, about a third is porn. On-demand services like Netflix account for another third.
The figures come from The Shift Project, a European think tank for transitioning to a post-carbon economy.
Co2 is plant food......... So if you think about it, the more people breath and huff and puff in porn, the more food plants will have to consume to thrive which will create more Oxygen for Humans.
