This one isn't kosher.
youtube-dl pukes on it (latest version) & yt-dlp wants to download half the library.It reads that as a rake of films. I found it going after an hour, so I just deleted the junk. I paid a bit more attention today. It got a rake of headers, then said "Downloading 1 of 353 Videos…" at which point I hit Ctrl_C. Here's another from just now

Cannot confirm. Just bog standard behavior with mpv+yt-dlp. It's a 1.5h movie, not a playlist.
Maybe you need to enclose the link in double quotes.

Well, the '-o <filename>' sorted it. 259MB - not half the library. I pasted and then posted my commands. I'll watch that sometime on my own; It's not my wife's style.

Matter of taste. I have never cared for Bean.

I thought Rowan Atkinson was funny in Blackadder, & Johnny English, but I could only take Bean in small doses. Perhaps I've felt awkward once too often myself!

I watched the 1st sketch (making a sandwich on a park bench). 6.5 minutes.
You can see Atkinson learned his ropes from Monty Python (something he himself has said if I'm not mistaken).
It was undeniably funny, and all the right ingredients are there (no pun intended).
But Monty Python would have done this in less than a minute, and both characters would have been equally funny.
Rowan Atkinson stretched it out to over 6 minutes, and his partner was little more than a prop.

OTOH, the other guy in BlackAdder, the thick guy, he was acted by Tony Robinson. Tony went on as a presenter in Time Team (3 day turbocharged Archeological digs) and did a number of history series, including one on the Roman Emperors. Most are on youtube. Both are worth watching.
