I'm a little unhappy that Stolychnaya is rare in the UK now and that the EU-invented* vodka from Smirnoff seems to abound. Same seems to have happened to the UK gin producer Gordon's -- EU* rubbish taking the alcohol to below proof and subsequent drop in quality.
*this happened over a decade ago so it's in UK law now and plenty of companies don't do it, the aforementioned Russian Standard being one, so this is not an anti-EU rant rather an anti-compromise rant.
