Lets change things up a bit - since we have quite a few running threads about various political subjects. I myself have mentioned in my populism thread about the British Parliament; so I guess that sets the tone of this thread - though by no means should be limited to the British, any country will do.
In this thread - lets just throw proverbial tomatoes - cartoons, articles, whatever - gaffes and such - because I think we just need to lighten up a bit - even though again the other threads are of controversy - they have been civil.
This thread is not to be civil - only caricatures are to be discussed here - serious discussions will not be tolerated.
Starting with the British Parliament - ORDER!!!! lol
In the old days, we listened to politicians and laughed at comedians.
Today, we laugh at politicians and listen to comedians.
That rings true - comedy is crucial - and why you see authoritarians and dictators clamp down on them - because throughout all of the state run media, corporate backed media - comedians are the last bastion of truth.
'...Some chief went to prison to see the prime minister and said, 'Mate, your mob can dig it all up and drop it over the edge of the world, no worries." '
'Why did he have to go to prison?'
'We put all our politicians in prison as soon as they're elected. Don't you?'
