If I want to reinstall, what is best way? Just reinstall over current installation on same partition, keeping swap as is? Or should I delete both Linux partitions, and reinstall alongside Windows? (I forgot to mention, this a dual boot system).
Thanks, frank. I did reinstall to the same partition, after figuring out I needed to make that root, and specify where to install the boot loader (stuff I probably used to know...oh well). It went well, except that my wireless mouse and keyboard didn't work at first, but updating cured that. Also, I got a couple error messages (sent info re: these as requested). Interestingly, when I installed Firefox, all my bookmarks were there, as well as my one add-on, Ad Blocker. And when I installed Thunderbird, it was already set up. I'm just wondering, why did this happen? I'm glad it did, but for future reference it would be cool to know.
