Strike that. As soon as I tried to make a comment on Facebook, it crashed. I'm installing chromium and we'll see how that works.

Though, I can navigate and leave facebook open without it destroying my browsing session and I'm not getting the hangups anymore. :)

What you describe sounds like a problem with the flash plugin, try running without flash and see if you can still reproduce the problem.
