Unhappy I screwed up on a G3 tower install, stuck at "can't OPEN:"

okay, I have an old world tower that I was installing Woody on, but I think (okay, I know) I messed up the partitioning phase, and now when I turn on the computer I get an endless stream of "can't OPEN:_".

Can anyone point me to where I need to go next? I'm at a loss.

Thanks

if this is an all linux install just start over, simple and less sweat then trying to fix up a stuff up.

If its dual boot you might try and see if you failed to mark the Windows partition as active

I probably should have done a better job at explaining what I've done. I tried that first thing, it won't get far enough to even read any of my drives, and being old world, won't boot from cd
