Thumbs down I can't share a network location via "Connect to server"

Hello.
I use Debian 7 and I can't mount Windows share via "Connect to server" and I must use command line. How can I solve it?
I check "samba" and "Winbind" services and they are enable.

Thank you.

It's a little difficult being very helpful as you've not really put in much information. There's a lot of reasons this may not be working.

Have you been given any sort of error? When mounting in the command line did you use rw? When mounting in the command line what commands and options did you use?
Consider checking the security properties of the share on Windows. The security and all of the folder's permissions need to be set to everyone.

Often the SAMBA config file needs to be adapted to your situation. There are numerous internet shared pages on that. You need some understanding of what may be needed at your place but then you can do it your self quite easily. I never could use the default config file.....
