When I was in school every other student besides me wanted a GUI with a mouse. I was happy with the command line, because it's much faster. One comment I remember, "It's too dossy!" Well, there isn't a GUI for everything.

Yes no one can deny, GUI is good to have but can't do magic.

Nothing stops you (at least in Debian) from installing your favorite WM alongside your favorite DE

I mostly use i3wm for work and launch GNOME or Plasma for everything else.
