I and openSUSE 11.2

Welcome all

Here, I'll tell you my experiences using openSUSE 11.2. Which is a distro that is most comfortable for me personally. Although Slackware is better in my opinion, in order to learn, not as a daily usage. But, for some reason, since from the beginning, I felt more comfortable using openSUSE from other distributions.

When the installation is not found any problems, I chose to use the KDE4 desktop manager. With some types of office applications, networks, virtualization, and image processing.

But there's an unfortunate thing. When running a virtual box, applications will not run at all. Error message occurs. With Xen, also the same. So I could not use virtualization on my machine. This is particularly regrettable considering my Computer Networking class lecture in which virtualization is needed for my learning .

But overall, I find it very comfortable to use openSUSE.

Nice. It doesn't work but you're comfortable, how's that?
When I first tried opensuse 11.1 last summer when I was going to move to linux but I found it laggy and hard-to-configure.
Better ask about your errors on forums.

I agree and am using SUSE 11.0 as my main distro. I have tried 11.2 but not comfortable with it. The main thing I like with suse is their large repository and now that they seem to have YaST figured out the ease of adding or removing programs.

yes, it was the excess of suse.

But since entering the 11 version, why do I feel the instability on opensuse. Is it possible that my configuration is not quite right or is this happening to someone else?
