Posted 03-10-2010 at 09:37 AM by wa1961

Hi all

I tried to install openoffice because I need Impress (powerpoint). But when I tape yum install openoffice.org*
I got this error :

Error: Missing Dependency: librpmio.so.0 is needed by package abrt-1.0.8-2.fc12.i686 (updates)
Error: Missing Dependency: librpmio.so.0 is needed by package abrt-1.0.8-2.fc12.i686 (updates-testing)
Error: Missing Dependency: librpm.so.0 is needed by package abrt-1.0.8-2.fc12.i686 (updates)
Error: Missing Dependency: librpm.so.0 is needed by package abrt-1.0.8-2.fc12.i686 (updates-testing)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Thank u for help.

Wow wow wow, hold on a minute!
Do you know word blog means? No? Read this.
I believe you meant the word "you" not letter "u". Filter your language by reading this.
And first of all, before you ask any questions, learn how to ask them in a smart way.

hi, yes you want to post a question on this in the forums, a blog is not the right place for this. Blogs are about posting your thoughts on a certain subject. Say you did something cool with Linux and want to tell the world or you read something that is annoying or funny and you want to share it with the world.

Nobody might read your blog and that is why it's not a good place to post questions.
