I would like to write in my language, Spanish, but since everything is in English here, it forces me to do it in a language I do not know very well.
I want to tell you that I have been using MX Linux for more than a year and it is a fantastic, stable and very well designed distribution to run quickly on both old and newer computers.
I would like to have a group on this page to share experiences with MX Linux.
can I just say, have you tried others to get an over all better idea/view on what is good - better - best - out there? Just trying one and saying it is the best is not a fair comparison of distros, not to say that MX Linux is not a decent enough disto to get one around the back yard, and perhpas across the street.
these are metaphors I speak with of course. You do have a blog you can use in here too from what I hear. You just need to set it up.

I don't want to upset anyone, but LQ uses English only so that the maximum of people may understand the posts and so that the mods can keep a track on all content.
So, with that in mind, and so everyone doesn't need to resort to translators, the above two posts read (courtesy of Google Translate):

MX Linux is an excellent distribution for newbies.
It introduces you to the use of Debian, which is one of the best Linux distributions.
Already with time, maybe you get bored of using a somewhat heavy system and a bit trapped in the packages (MX is based on Debian Stable) and decide to explore other options, such as installing and learning to use Debian Testing.
Sofia-M; I tell you about my experience in GNU / Linux
Since 2009 I started using GNU / Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, which I did not like at all (horrible for my liking) and then I found Kubuntu that I found with better work. Then I started to be what they call "Distroshop" testing how much distribution appeared with KDE desktop (Mint, OpenSUSE, Mageia, Netrunner, Neptune, ROSA, OpenMandriva, among which I remember) and also experimented with Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Mate Mint, Cinnamont Mint, Elementary, KaOS, Deepin, and also with Debian derivatives as a base and many others that I do not remember.
As soon as I installed them they seemed fabulous to me, I thought about them a lot, I promoted them and I wanted my friends and family to install them until I offered to do it but, over time, I ended up getting bored until, in November of 2017, I found the beta of MX Linux 17, I tried it and I liked it so much that since that date I have not tried again or out of curiosity another distribution. Now on my machines, MX 18 Continunn is installed as the only system.
So this "newbie" in GNU / Linux does not want to pry with more "heavy" systems because after 8 years of working with dualboot and 2 years with a single distribution; I already found the distribution that fits my tastes and needs and I can modify it and customize it as I wish, although there will be people who prefer another distribution and that's why the GNU / Linux world is like the colors ... everyone chooses the one he likes more
A Magical Hug
All member-created content should be in English. This allows our moderators to ensure all content complies with all LQ rules.
Edit: That doesn't mean that you have to construct all your thoughts in English. If you write in another language, put it into a translator like Google Translate and then paste the translated text here rather than the original language text then that will do. It won't be perfect but at least folk will be able to understand it.
