Hi,
please suggest how to create mirror of datavg having 4 disk
Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. Did you even TRY to look this up? The VERY FIRST HIT in Google for "how to mirror volume group in aix" is: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledg...3/mirrorvg.htm
AMAZINGLY, from IBM's website. You have been here for NINE YEARS now....please, show effort of your own.

, also how much space it will take after mirroring?
Is this a trick question??? If you MIRROR it, the exact copy (the 'mirror'), WILL BE THE SAME SIZE AS WHAT YOU STARTED WITH.
To be less snarky but more pedantic I'll note that LVM mirroring only duplicates allocated LPs, and if you do -c 3 then you'll need 12.
The snark would have been omitted, if the OP hadn't been a member here for NINE YEARS now, with 260 posts...many of which are along these same lines.....
