Mozilla as a browser is decent, but Firefox has really done a great job. Liked the Firebird name, but let's not go there.................

capslock 01-01-2005 10:46 PM

i like firefox

cadj 01-01-2005 10:47 PM

i prefer firefox, and voted for it. but konqueror pops up instantly on my kde desktop so i tend to use it more.

lin_user2004 01-01-2005 11:47 PM

I do beg to differ here. I feel firefox is the best for its speed but opera wins hands down for features and simple user interface. Opera is my favourite. Though i have voted for firefox though it was difficult to decide between the two. & i am yet to use lynx which seems to be another popular here.

.

fotoguy 01-01-2005 11:51 PM

Just started using firefox, and I must sayI'm impressed, so I guess you know who I'm voting for.

habala 01-02-2005 01:47 AM

Mosaic is the best

No Mosaic in the poll? :(

fcaraballo 01-02-2005 01:48 AM

reverendm 01-02-2005 03:47 AM

i voted for mozzilia. but i never knew what firefox was. i've seen mention of it but thought it was a sort of sever based app. i like mozilla best so far. i'm dl'ing firefox atm. will check it our in the morn.

Nobo 01-02-2005 05:08 AM

firefox!

raouls 01-02-2005 05:13 AM

firefox... what else? if i want a decent web browser then what else do i use? opera doesn't have a web developer toolbar, one of my favourite extensions... and to quote my brother: "you just *think* and firefox takes you there!"

yucehan 01-02-2005 05:16 AM

no doubt firefox

uvramana 01-02-2005 05:32 AM

lionel_82 01-02-2005 06:31 AM

Gotta agree . . . Firefox has them all beat!

TazG 01-02-2005 08:23 AM

Firefox is the browser of the year. It was the most successful open source project. I think it's going to change the world.

crocodile1s 01-02-2005 08:23 AM

DaBlade 01-02-2005 09:04 AM

Firefox all the way

marsguy 01-02-2005 09:21 AM

I'd say Firefox and Netscape on Linux and Internet explorer on Windows (I haven't tried Firefox on windows yet).

Bruinsje 01-02-2005 09:27 AM

Firefox...

AdrianTM 01-02-2005 10:00 AM

No doubt --- Firefox
Simply the best browser

Firefox all the way :D

mipia 01-02-2005 04:16 PM

sorry im not in with the hip crowd, but ive been using galeon instead of firefox, just seems more responsive on my system. I know everyone assumes that firefox is the right thing to do, but galeon just works for me.

habala 01-02-2005 04:29 PM

Firefox for sure ! :)

jabrealj 01-02-2005 04:56 PM

Opera, by far. Maybe you guys haven't taken the time to compile it, but it ROCKS!!!

Tufriast 01-02-2005 05:40 PM

god_is_good478 01-02-2005 11:46 PM

Ruben2 01-03-2005 03:58 AM

Firefox for me too

RazorKnight 01-03-2005 04:30 AM

nothing beats a webpage written with the vt100 in mind - go lynx! Although I do like firefox a lot...

Mystypiy 01-03-2005 09:15 AM

This is an easy one. Firefox!

reinouts 01-03-2005 10:31 AM

Epiphany

All the power of Firefox combined with all the elegant simplicity of GNOME. Simply a joy to use!

Tom Morris 01-03-2005 10:53 AM

Emacs.

Okay, Firefox, actually...

nice_indian 01-03-2005 11:06 AM

firefox for sure

Poprocks 01-03-2005 11:51 AM

I really don't think this will be much of a competition; Firefox will win hands down.

That said, Galeon has definitely come a long way this year, and I'm finally beginning to like the 1.3.x series.

Konqueror is good, but it doesn't get the job done as quickly and efficiently as Firefox. It also seems to hiccup when rendering many pages.

mthaler75 01-03-2005 12:47 PM

Konqueror

I voted for Konqueror. Konqueror in KDE3.3 is already quite good. But Konqueror from KDE CVS just rocks.

dishawjp 01-03-2005 12:58 PM

My first choice would probably be Firefox, though Epiphany does a good job as well.

simeandrews 01-03-2005 02:10 PM

No need to ask, you all said it - Firefox!

Kelean 01-03-2005 02:59 PM

Firefox for speed and customization's. I still play around with Galeon and Konqueror.

darkangel29 01-03-2005 03:30 PM

viva le firefox

tamoneya 01-03-2005 04:15 PM

duh

Firefox no doubt. Reclaim the Web

dlichterman 01-03-2005 07:10 PM
