FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
March 28, 2007 -- LinuxQuestions.org is proud to announce that the LQ Wiki now contains over 3,000 articles. The LQ Wiki allows users to collaboratively build a free, complete and up-to-date Linux knowledgebase and aims to become the largest general-knowledge Linux repository on the web. It is free to join or use the LQ Wiki and any user can add or edit content. All content is licensed under either a Creative Commons license or the GFDL, ensuring that it remains freely redistributable. The LQ Wiki also recently became an OpenID consumer.
"3,000 articles is an exciting milestone for the LQ Wiki, but we plan to take the site much further," said LinuxQuestions.org Founder Jeremy Garcia. "With support for OpenID recently added, the barrier to contribute was significantly lowered," he continued.
