did you read the release notes for 13.2 ?
13.2 is diverting off the normal development path with 13.2
13.2 is closer to a MAJOR upgrade and not a normal "minor" upgrade
this is mentioned in the release notes
if you really want to "try" a inplace upgrade
1)
do a full system backup
2)
download the install dvd
3)
use the dvd to "upgrade an existing install"
but
do to some changes EXPECT ERRORS
spend the next week or two tracking them down
mainly if you use "packman" and allowed "vender change"
or any of the other third party repos
Warning:
--- third party repos!!!!!
the Devel:gcc repo for 13.2 DOSE NOT!!!! have the same packages that are in the 13.1 repo
-- this WILL!!!!!! cause problems !!!!!
Also there is a QT 4 VS qt5 issues with headers and libs
a inplace upgrade can leave the qt4 headers but think they are the qt5 ones
-- fixable but a mess
