I have Windows XP, Vista and SUSE 10.1 Remastered on my computer. I can boot into Windows but there is no Linux Grub Loader. I can boot into Linux using DVD but unable to install Grub through Yast. There is no mention of Windows in Grub. Also in partitioning in Yast my Windows partitions cannot be mounted. I cannot connect to internet in Linux. Please tell me how to proceed so that I can boot all 3 OSs.
It tells you just about all you need to know to get grub installed and working.
You should be able to mount your NTFS patritions, read only, with the mount command. Post what you have tried, and we'll see if we can get that going.
As for your internet connection, you will have to post some information on the type of connection you have, and what you have tried, what works and what doesn't.
Work on the Grub install first, then we can work on the other things.
You can use GAG a graphical public domain bootloader also. I use it to boot windows, Freebsd, and Suse. It doesn't care which disks your systems reside on as long as they have a boot block (lilo or grub works). It works very well and is simple to use. You can find it by Googling.

I have successfully installed grub in /dev/sda.
Running Linux very good with all Windows partitions installed and internet running.
Only problem now is that I cannot boot in Windows due to incorrect entries in menu.ist
Pl. guide me
My windows XP is installed in /dev/sda1
Windows Vista is installed in /dev/sda7
Suse in sda9,10, 11
It gives an example of the entry in menu.1st file to boot windows. Grub counts from 0, not 1. So the 'hd0,0' entry says the first disk, and first partition.
