Unhappy 11.1b3 Firmware Test failures; Importance of. Neglecting to act on resolving warnings

Asus G2K-A1 {AMD x2 Turion TL-64} laptop tested; - 5 failures, 3 warnings, 10 passed (appears to include 3 INFO). Test options appear to be designed ONLY for Intel Hardware (or just a bad guess*?*)

I may have used this option on previous versions of openSUSE DVD before & had questions but never pursued them.
System was locked up after about 10 minute when booting HD, but running fsck appeared to fix; / on sda2 & home sda8, boots OK but lacks Knetworkmanager (?*?)

FAILURES - What happens if I ignore (other than not optimal performance!)

OS/2 Memory Hole -between 15 & 16 Mb

MTRR . . . . Incorrect attribute write-back

DMI Info- No SYMBIOS nor DMI entry point found.

CPU Frequency scaling-Supposedly higher frequency is slower on CPU 0 (10 times), on CPU 1 (2 x)
After installing to HD 3nd run CPU0=15, CPU1=3

HPET Configuration- Failed to locate HPET base

- - - - - (*Please see my edit comments for my thoughts*) System locks up after about 10 minute when booting fro HD

Running a manual test gave some suggestions;
Enable Config_No_Hz (Allows longer CPU sleep)

Enable Config_HPET_Timer (prevents kernel waking up every 20 milliseconds

Enable SATA ALPM ( ??)

Enable Config_ACPI_Battery (Allows PowerTop to get readings)

Enable USB autosuspend

and something about: echo 1500, echo in power >sys/class/SCSI_host0, but both disappeared before I could comprehend & record them.
