YaST descriptions...

help,

I am trying to thin down my installation but all the package descriptions have disappeared. Well, I think they are still there... they just aren't in the main software manager window.

If I delete a package, the description shows up during the deletion process.

any ideas on how to get them to display normally?

SuSE 10 GM x86-64

thanks

Are you looking at the correct tab at the Bottom right of the YaST Window?

I'm having the same problem. I also have a x86_64 install. For me YaST never had descriptions. I did an FTP install. The descriptions are only missing for the "official" SuSE reposotories. Packman packages, on the other hand, all have descriptions.
