I've successfully installed XGL on my Suse install, and I love it. The ONLY problem I'm having with it is that anything under my mouse doesn't update with the screen. For example, if I scroll up while the mouse is holding still and I move the mouse, whatever was under it before the move still shows in a little square. Like in the logo at the top left of the screen. If I have my mouse over a penguin's head and scroll down without moving it, so that the mouse now appears below the penguin, if I move my mouse, it will show the penguin's head where the mouse used to be. This gets extremely annoying when I scroll using my mouse button or when I'm using a dropdown, etc. Any ideas how to fix it? It's simply not updating my screen properly when I move the mouse
I was thinking that maybe if I switched to KDE, it might fix it... but I don't know how to switch. I thought I could choose on the login screen but it's not there... maybe it's just not installed?
Anyway
Thanks in advance,
Jon
P.S. If anyone wants to know, I installed using
