first of all, sorry for my poor English.
I have installed a SuSE 8.2 (ok ok, this is not a new release but this is a gift) and all seems to be OK but I have problems obtaining sound from a "configured" intel8x0 (ich5) card.
'alsaconf' recognize it as a "intel8x0" and configures it, but when it tries to play a test sound... nothing happens.
I tried alsamixer and all seems to be ok (I tried 'yast' via KDE and it tells me that all is OK).
"lsmod | grep snd" shows this output :
