Hi -

In order to get oci working with php 4.4.0 on SLES8, I need to configure it with this string

'./configure' '--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs' '--with-mysql' '--with-oci8=/opt/oracle/product/9.0.1' '--enable-ftp' '--with-mcrypt=/usr/lib' '--with-mhash=/usr/lib' '--with-zlib=yes' '--with-gettext'

The problem is I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get a hold of the correct mhash.h libraries and headers for this!
I have installed mhash form the CDROM alright, but mhash.h is missing.
Tried to copy it from a different PC with Suse 8.2 on it ... -> php's configure did not like that!

What to do? Anyone else had this prob and found something?

i would assume you do not have mhash-devel installed.

Thank for the pointer! That dev library is missing from SLES8, but it's in 9 ...
I need to stick with 8.
If someone has accomplished this before, let me know how you did it, because I am entering RPM Hell, Section Suse ...
