dcsadler LQ Newbie Registered: Feb 2005 Posts: 1 Rep:	shmget fails in suse 9 but works on suse 8 When trying to define a shared segment > 2 GB on suse 9 (kernel 2.6) I get an invalid argument return value, however the same code works on suse 8 (kernel 2.4) and defines a shared segment > 2 GB. Has anyone seen a simular problem on 64 bit machines?
