Save Sound settings?

I have read the other threads, my problem seems a bit different.

My card (Sound Blaster Audigy) works perfectly, i even got it to work with skype,

I have suse 9.2
when i reboot, the sound settings are gone, even kmix is gone.

I check the Hardware tool, click details on my sound card

Driver Info #0:
Driver Status: emu10k1 is not active
Driver Activation Cmd: "modprobe emu10k1"
Driver Info #1:
Driver Status: snd-emu10k1 is not active
Driver Activation Cmd: "modprobe snd-emu10k1"

Which is FIne, i execute these two commands and perfect, its all up and running again.

How can i get these two commands to start automatically when the Suse starts?
Or how do i save the sound settings?

Thanks alot for your help

You need to put both of those commands in your startup scripts in your SuSe distribution. Now, I wish I could answer your question more fully, except, I don't use SuSe. Slackware has this nice package installed called hotplug that takes care of sound and a lot more at boot for me, maybe there's a package for SuSe?

Try looking in /etc/rc.d or rc.something in the /etc directory. There might be some scripts you can look at and edit there. Or maybe, there's some graphical user interface thingamajigger in SuSe that you can use. Again, I'm sorry I can't answer your question more fully than this.
