Resolution Problems

I got a new monitor, Acer 23", and it auto configs at 1920X1080. In order for all the web pages to look right I go into "Configure Desktop"> "Display Settings" and change it to 1280X800. This makes most of the pages larger and is to my liking.
However, Suse 12.3 Milestone won't hold the setting. It reverts back to 1920X1080 on restart. I dual boot with Visa Ultimate and I notice that Windoze holds the 1280X800 resolution change. How can I make Suse remember the resolution change?
