Really Slow Internet Suse 9.2 Pro

So I installed Suse 9.2 Pro on my Toshiba Satellite Pro and I installed the ipw firmware, so my wireless card works, I have 100% connection, but my internet is really slow. It takes so long for sites to be resolved, so I hooked up the ethernet cable and still really slow. Any ideas?

What is the download speed you get?

Maybe your Browser settings need adjustments.

If you are using Firefox, then there are a lot of tweaks available on the Internet for suiting your type of Internet Connection. (Google will help you find it.)

Take a look at it.
