Arrow Radeon x700

Hello!
I am about to install opensuse 11.3 & was wondering what is the best driver option for me?
I mean what driver should I install that is the "latest & greatest" for my card...
Thank you.

Are you a gamer? If so, get the AMD linux driver. It's fastest.

Otherwise get the oss driver. It's fast enough on a new system, and doesn't do gpl-unfriendly things. That is usually xf86-video-ati

The x700 is not supported by the proprietary AMD-drivers, so your only option is to go for the OSS-drivers.

It's probably already installed in with all the other video drivers. Mine is in
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers

although it does scatter a few files
usr/lib/xorg/modules/multimedia/theatre_detect_drv.la
usr/lib/xorg/modules/multimedia/theatre200_drv.so
