I did a rdp from a win7 desktop into my headless suse 11.1 server and upgraded to 11.2 via yast. Not a single problem the whole way! Everything is working great.

It has been said here that only paying punters can register but my upgrade seems to insist on this before I can update the system. It does suggest I unlock pin xxxx . Would 'lockfile -! xxxx' do this or cause more problems? Would Zypper override such a lock?

If you have openssuse not NOvell Suse it must be possible to update without any problems .
What exactly is the error message ?
