OpenSUSE 10.3 menu panel under Gnome

Ok, I doubt if anyone remembers me, but four years ago I was active in this community. Since then I have gotten tied up with many other things, so I haven't had much time, but I decided that it was time to make time for Linux.
Now onto my question. I am running opensuse 10.3 with gnome, and I can't figure out how to change the panel to the classic style. Any Idea's?

I currently have this, and I don't think that it is very cool. I would much rather have all my programs listed on the panel.http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j.../snapshot1.png

I've not used GNOME for a while so can't be very specific. You should be able to right click on the menu icon and select the option to remove it from the panel. You then need to right click on the panel and choose the option to add an applet. I think the applet you need to add is the deskbar applet.

njbrain, I know exactly what you want to do, as I have been looking for options to do this as well. Unfortunately, I have not had any success in finding an answer for this either, as I have posted regarding this issue here some time back, but received no feedback to explain if this were possible or how to do so. I have checked every option in 10.3 that I could think of, but nothing seems to relate to switching the main menu to displaying a list instead.

Reddazz, you hit the nail on the head. Thanks. I just right clicked on the menu icon, and selected "remove from panel" Then I right clicked on the panel, and selected "add to panel" "Traditional main menu" is what you want to add.
