multimedia keyboard

i have a multimedia keyboard, (genral OEM type)
with buttons for audio (play/pause, stop, next, previous, mute volup voldown)
and other buttonms for browsing
(back forward stop refresh search bookmarks home)
and shortcuts to programs (mail, file manager and calculator)

how can i get thease working in 10.1

even just get then to be recognised so that i can assign shortcuts to them?

there is no driver sofware included with this KBD, windoze just recognises it automaticly)

LinEAK is probably your best bet. There are a few other projects out there, but I think this one is the most developed.
