modprobe does not recognize module parameters at boot

Hi there,

i have to load a module at boot time.
To accomplish this i added the module name in /etc/sysconfig/kernel to the variable
MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT="bonding"

When i start the system, module "bonding" is loaded, but the options specified in modprobe's config file /etc/modprobe.conf.local are ignored...
without this options, bonding does not work correctly at my location.

I found out that all module-names specified with the MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT variable are loaded by the init-script /etc/init.d/boot.loadmodules.
this script does a simple modprobe at boot.

Furthermore i found that when i hardcode the module options in the init-script (which is a very nasty thing) the module gets loaded with the right options and everything works...

Why does modprobe not recongnize the module options at boot time?
