Make command is missing


Hi Gurus! I need to use make command on OpenSuse 10.3 but i got this error bash: make: command not found. How do I activate or add this command?

I think what you need can be found via Yast > Install ??

Look for C/C++ Development and Tools

There is a make package. But if you don't have make installed you may not have the gcc, gcc-c++ and binutils packages installed either.
Also install autoconf and automake to compile tarballs you download.

Some distros don't have make installed by default. You might need to search your package manager (such as Yast or Kynaptic) for it.
