I have just installed a couple weeks ago OpenSUSE 10.3 (x86_64) on my Dell Optiplex 745, everything works fine, but the audio refuses to work, it is an integrated SoundMAX Audio Card.
Any ideas ?

Can you find you,re card in yast2 ?
ANd try to configure it using yast
You can also try in the failsafe mode the command alsaconf and alsamixer ans alsactl store
