changing character sets on my console?(SuSe 7.3)

Ok. I Want to have CP852 or CP437 on my console.

Because here i donīt get propers Scandic letters from another Windows users to my software. Software is showing same characters as the console does nad in software there is no chance to change anything. Its simple text based.

What should i do?
