KDE 3.5.10 for slackware-13.1

Hi!

If anybody wanted to install kde 3.5.10 on slack 13.1, it is now available by bittorrent.
It's a i686 version, but I also included a script for downloading the source files - with little effort you can adjust the slackbuilds to desired arch.

I attach the torrent file - just change the extension to .torrent to make use of it.

thanks for that. I really love kde 4.5.8 but will play with it. I think my old laptop will like it.

Hi , I was always using slackware 12.2 with kde 3.5 , because my old PC were slowly when running slackware 13.1 .
If I install slackware13.1 and using kde3.5 you just give me, Do you think It will faster than kde3.5 in slackware12.2 ?
If so , I really want to try it . @_@
And can you tell me how can i install it ? using the "kde_3_5_10_for_slackware_13_1-(Demonoid.me)_6274531.0026.txt" ?

You have to change the extension from ".txt" to "torrent" and use your favourite bittorrent client (like ktorrent or azureus) to download the packages.
Then please seed for some time to let others download.

Please seed. I will download KDE3 in coming three days. I will seed in the future when, hm, some problems with my ISP provider will be fixed. Now I have ca. 5 kB/s bandwidth. Enough to read emails. But nothing more.

Hey!

There is a seeder from Romania! That torrent is seeded from two machines, both from my home and my job, but not simultaneous, of course. Estimated on-line window is 8.00 - 23.00 EEST.

And yeah, both machines have an 50MB/s connection. Happy downloading!

I see that you're from china... Is the tracker ok? Isn't it blocked in your country? Can you try to open demonoid.me site from your browser?

Unfortunately i can't - don't have enough bandwidth for this... Also I couldn't seed for the time i'd be sending it. Maybe someone could put it on a ftp server, rapidshare or something similar. Guys? :-)

It definitely is faster.

Igadoter, Darth Vader, Slax-Dude and others - thanks for seeding :-)

Hi all,
I've just installed KDE 3.5.10 on my slackware. Runs fine. Of course it is too early for some definite conclusions. One thing I noted is a strange behavior - time to time - of a mouse. It runs out to an edge of a screen. Also a communication between a mouse and the desktop works not well as sometimes moves of mouse is interpreted as clicks.
