It's only me ? http://ftp.slackware.com refer Debian repository


I was a bit surprised when acces http://ftp.slackware.com refering to Debian stuff. DNS propagation problem ?

Heemm ...I understand, the parent directory is for all, and specific url true for Slackware.

Click the "Slackware" tab at the top of the display.

My guess is that it is an issue within the Oregon State University website, since http://ftp.slackware.com resolves to http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/.

yup, slackware.osuosl.org has the same IP as ftp.slackware.com

I guess it's another way to reduce the load of the main Slackware site and they host the FTP site to OSUOSL
