Auto DHCP for Wireless
I am having an issue with my laptop. Every time I boot the machine I must su and then run dhcpcd. I would like to the interface to acquire a network address either on start up or at log in.
I come from *buntu Debian based systems where this was easy. I would just edit /etc/network/interfaces and add something like this:
auto ath0
iface ath0 inet dhcp
In Slackware this file does not exist. Do I need to manually add the dhcpcd command to a script and have it execute on start up? I have a feeling there is an easier way to do it and I just do not know where to look.
I appreciate any help I can get and please, no GUIs.
