Change password


I tried the comand "chage " on my RH8 ,

# chage -d 2003/08/19 -W5 user

The system can send the warning messages to the user , but the message disappear very fast ( less than 1 second) , how to hold the message until the user press 'enter' ? thx.

Are you running this in a terminal or using the "run" dialog box? If you just run it in xterm or konsole it shouldn't disappear.

i.e,you can use the scrollbar!!
Also,you can output the command into a file,using '>' operator
ie,
ls>filename
bye the bye,what relation does the subject "Change Password" has got with your problem??
