Which wireless card functions with Linux?
I am a beginner with Linux, and would llike to know which wireless card I should get to work on my Toshiba Satellite laptop, running SUSE Professional?
I can see all 5 of your posts. Please do not post the same question over and over. As for wireless cards, try looking at the HCL on this site (Hardware compatibitily list).

The siemens card you have probably works but with alot of extra work. To my knowledge, the siemens card probably uses the acx100 chipset and the acx100 module, which can be a rather pain to install or get configured. I've only experienced mainly with Netgear cards, which seem to work almost out of the box in most cases. I sent you this link via email that might help you get started: http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/
